Typically for a DC24 @15W uses approx  9c/day depending on size chosen.
The Dampp Chaser® Storage Dry-Rod stays put with its included floor clips, silently &  automatically operates to reduce moisture and prevent mould growth. 

How?

1. In a confined storage space, if the air is heated, the relative humidity will go down because warm air molecules are capable of holding more moisture.

2. The increased moisture carrying capacity of this air draws moisture out of the objects it passes (your clothes, shoes, boat, storage shed…).

3. As the air molecules are heated, they become more active and cause the pressure within the confined space to increase slightly, forcing some of the moisture-laden air outside to be carried away.

To size up simply:

• Measure the width of your cupboard or cabinet and choose a size to fit the maximum width.
• Mount the DC24 Dampp Chaser® Storage Dry-Rod horizontally at bottom of cupboard or cabinet to allow the warm air to rise up.

ie a cabinet 80cm wide choose DC24-61cm, or a wardrobe 2m wide wardrobe choose 2x DC36 = covers 1.82m etc. (multiple units can be plugged in to make up a larger area.)
