The DC48 cannot be sent via AusPost or Sendle (exceeds 105cm length).

Economical to use

Using very little power the rod operates on just cents per/day.   
Typically for a DC48 @35W uses approx 18c/day depending on size chosen.
The Dampp Chaser® Damp Defender Storage Dry-Rod stays put with its included floor clips, silently &  automatically operates to reduce moisture and prevent mould growth. 

How?

1. In a confined storage space, if the air is heated, the relative humidity will go down because warm air molecules are capable of holding more moisture.

2. The increased moisture carrying capacity of this air draws moisture out of the objects it passes (your clothes, shoes, boat, storage shed…).

3. As the air molecules are heated, they become more active and cause the pressure within the confined space to increase slightly, forcing some of the moisture-laden air outside to be carried away.

To size up simply:

• Measure the width of your cupboard or cabinet and choose a size to fit the maximum width.
• Mount the Dampp Chaser® horizontally at bottom of cupboard or cabinet to allow the warm air to rise up. See pictures.

ie a cabinet 80cm wide choose DC24-61cm, or a wardrobe 2m wide choose 2x DC36 = covers 1.82m etc. (multiple units can be plugged in to make up a larger area.)
